Construction on HUAYIDE's Non-standard Stacker Crane Automated Warehouse project began last year in Russia. This project is a customized, heavy-duty stacker crane warehouse designed to meet the client's needs for oversized cargo spaces. Because the client needed to store containers, we customized racking with a 7-meter-long shelf and a load capacity of 5 tons.
Project Difficulties
Compatibility With Irregular Cargo: Non-standard cargo (such as containers and irregularly shaped metal parts) places extremely high demands on stacker forks. Forks with extremely high load capacity and excellent stability must be developed, while also ensuring accurate fork handling.
Long Commissioning Cycle: The average commissioning cycle for non-standard projects is 3-6 months, and new process details need to be addressed during the commissioning phase.
High Cost: Customized equipment costs 50%-80% more than standard models. Specialized materials, processes, and more complex shipping logistics significantly increase project costs.
