Miniload ASRS consists of one or more aisles with racking on both sides for storing boxes, containers, trays, cases, bins or totes. With a stacker crane moving up and down each aisle, store and retrieve boxes in their location. The picking and handling area, which consists of conveyors where stacker crane deposit loads extracted from racking system. The whole system is directed by software that records locations of all goods in warehouse and keeps a real-time inventory. As a result of its extraordinary ability to adapt, it can be easily integrated into warehouse or production process.
